Osentoski Auction Service is one of the Thumb's
premier, family-owned businesses. But the reputation of the firm extends well beyond the Thumb.
Established in 1950 by Ira Osentoski, he could never have imagined that
49 years later the firm would be such a success, and involve his wife, three sons, two
daughters-in-law, and even his grandchildren. That is where Osentoski Auction Service
stands today.
Ira, having passed away in 1994, left behind his name and his
business; both of solid reputation and character.
Today the company is run by his sons, David, Martin & Ken. Many the
grandchildren have grown up know and enjoy working the
auctions. Even great grandchildren chip in to help.
The
family guarantees personal, quality service from one of the oldest
and largest auction services to operate in Michigan's Thumb area.
"Nothing to large or too small, from households to farms, estates
to antiques" has been their motto. It pretty well sums up the extent of services offered, holding
auctions from Escanaba to Ecorse, and all points in between.
Ira, you have so much to be proud of. The great company you've started
is strong, and will last many lifetimes, both in business and in family.
